Finding Jesus is both a one-time decision and a life-long process. God wants you to have a meaningful life in relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus.
Because God loves you, He created a way for you to know Him, become the person you were created to be, and have heaven for your future. It’s impossible to have any of that without His forgiveness. That’s why God sent Jesus.
The problem.
There is a huge chasm between you and God. None of us are perfect (no surprise, right?), but there’s more at stake than occasional feelings of guilt. Sadly, your life choices have caused you to be separated from God. In the Bible, poor choices are called “sin” and God described the punishment for sin – it’s death and eternal separation from God.
Everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Romans 3:23
We can try to fix it...
There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death. Proverbs 14:12
God's solution actually works
But there’s hope—God loves you and has an amazing plan for your life. He knows that it is impossible to have eternal life without His forgiveness. That’s why God sent Jesus.
Jesus is the only one who can position you to be in a relationship with God. Jesus came to earth to take the punishment you earned upon Himself. In other words, your sin should condemn you to death, but Jesus offered to take your punishment so you wouldn’t have to endure it.
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:8
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
Our response
To accept this free gift, it’s as simple as asking God to forgive you for all the ways you’ve sinned against Him while living life on your own terms. Secondly, you need to trust Jesus, not only to be your Savior, but to be the leader of your life. You’re committing to become more like Jesus.
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Are you ready to begin a relationship with God?
If you want to invite Jesus to make you right with God and transform your life, you can ask Him right now. You can use the following prayer or pray something similar in your own words. God’s not looking for a perfect prayer—He’s looking for you to honestly share your need with Him:
“God, I want a relationship with You. But I realize my selfishness and sin has gotten in the way, because deep down, I wanted to live life my own way. But God, I’m tired and I’ve come to the end of myself. And I now realize that what’s been missing from my life is You. I don’t need more rules, more education, or another chance to be better. I need a savior. Thank you for sending Your Son Jesus to be my savior. I believe He lived, died, and rose from the grave to forgive my sins, conquer death, and give me new life and hope. I place my trust in Him and thank you for not giving up on me. I’m excited about growing in this new relationship with You. I know it won’t always be easy, I know you’ll continue to change me, and I’m going to trust in You. Amen.”
Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Corinthians 5:17
Did you commit your life to Jesus today? We'd love to celebrate with you!
I committed my life to Jesus.
Baptism is an expression of faith.
Baptism represents your old life being washed clean because of your faith in Jesus. It’s a chance to celebrate and share the story of how Jesus is transforming you. It’s one more way to signal to others—and yourself—that you’re a follower of Jesus.
We died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. Romans 6:4
